John’s Music Blog Is Live!
Dear Friends / Students / Parents of Students / Ah - the heck! Friends!
You’re all aware of my website and the use I make of it to enhance the musical education of my students. Well, I’ve moved one step further into the Information Age and become a Blogger! And this is my Blog! A place where I can let you know when I’ve updated my site or added content or where I can flag up some truly great examples of teaching or musicianship found on Youtube.
Obviously, a blog is useless unless people receive it and without a mailing list, no one will receive it. You’ve received this because I typed your email into my database. You can, of course, hit unsubscribe any time you like but I rather hope you don’t! No one else has access to my database and I won’t be passing it on to others. Nor will I be flooding your email inboxes with mindless waffle. I’m hoping my students will subscribe because they benefit from the lessons I upload here in piano technique and music theory, and because some of my students are “under-age” it’s good practice that their parents receive the same material too.
What is likely to appear here are notifications of new content as I generate it, musical events I’d like to bring to your attention, examples of excellence in musical performance and, occasionally, reminders to our young musicians of the need to practice well and often!
Do feel free to address any concerns or questions you may have by email or by phone.
All the best,
John
